Dive the crystal clear waters of Isla Guadalupe – one of the best places on the whole planet to view great white sharks.

Spend three adrenaline-filled days cage diving in multiple shark cages. It’s an incredible adventure open to both certified divers and non-divers.

Great white shark diving season at Isla Guadalupe is mid-July through early November. Pricing varies by vessel and accommodations class, but starts at $3579.75 per person and includes onboard accommodations, meals, non-alcoholic beverages, multiple dive days with lots of cage time, Mexico’s 16% VAT and $225 government permit fee. No dive experience is required.

Sample Itinerary

Trips begin and end in San Diego, California or Tijuana, Mexico, where participants schedule a hotel shuttle to take them to Ensenada, where our dive vessels are docked. Trips are typically six days in length and include up to three days of cage diving.

Sharks Spotted: Sub-adult and adult white sharks.

Viewing Season: Prime shark-viewing season at Isla Guadalupe is from July through early November.

Cost: Varies, according to vessel selected and accommodation category, but typically starts at $3579.75 per person, including tax. The price includes cage diving, on-board accommodations (shared), meals and non-alcoholic beverages, plus VAT and permit fee. (Port fee, dive insurance, alcohol, travel to San Diego and optional gratuity are extra.)

Participant Requirements: No dive certification is required. Non-divers can utilize floating shark cages and certified divers have the option of using deep-water cages. Participants should be in reasonably good health and comfortable in and on the water. Select trips are open to children and teens. Other trips are adult-only.

Trip Notes: Choose from three or more different luxury liveaboard dive vessels. All participants are required to purchase dive insurance and sign a release of liability. A passport is required for this trip. There is no shark guarantee, but Isla Guadalupe currently boasts the highest shark sighting success rate of any of the offered dive locations.
