You don’t have to be a certified diver to dive with sharks at San Francisco’s Farallon Islands. We use a floating shark cage on our San Francisco Great White Shark expeditions and a certified dive instructor on the boat teaches participants everything they need to know.

Cage divers stand on the bottom of our cage, with their heads just a couple feet below the surface.  Cage divers breathe through a modified “hookah system”.

In traditional diving, divers wear an oxygen tank on their back and breathe through a regulator.  For our cage dives, the air tanks remain on the boat and extra-long air hoses are used.  This allows cage divers to move more freely within the cage.

We currently have space available on several October and November trips.  The use of a wetsuit is included in the $825 cost of a cage dive.  For more info, call 800-644-7382.
